WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR ENTOURAGE?
If your student is new to The Dancer's EDGE or did not receive an Entourage invitation but is currently in Level 1+ classes, we invite them to participate in auditions held in early May each year. Students who will be in 2nd grade or higher next school year are candidates to audition in May. Click the button to request an info packet!
If a student's report card indicates "Entourage" in their score for the upcoming year, they are invited to begin the program and do not need to audition.
WHEN ARE ENTOURAGE AUDITIONS?
Entourage auditions are held each May for the following school year.
WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT?
Entourage is a year-round program that starts during our Summer session, as well as the accompanying School Year session, concluding with our annual Recital in June. Entourage members enroll in a 2 hour Entourage class block, one night per week during both the Summer and School Year sessions. This class block will include 60 minutes of Ballet and 60 minutes of Jazz. Students have the option of adding on additional classes in Hip Hop, Tap, Acro, Lyrical, and/or Pointe. Pointe is by invitation only.
WHERE WILL ENTOURAGE TEAMS PERFORM?
Our Entourage Teams perform at a variety of community events - primarily in late July/early August and late January/February. Specific dates will be communicated to the teams once known.
